Go west for The Workbox

The Workbox to open in Penzance

The WorkboxA new flexible workspace, The Workbox is about to open in Penzance to cater for West Cornwall’s growing number of home working professionals, freelance workers and small business directors.

The Workbox is the result of a £250,000 investment by the Regional Growth Fund and is situated in the heart of Penzance’s town centre in what used to be the tax office. The fourth floor landscape windows provide stunning views of Mount’s Bay and the town, and should be a boost to creativity.

Great care has also been taken to provide a variety of casual and formal working options in the open plan interior. You’ll be able to work on a sofa, at a workbench or a desk space, while connected to fibre high speed broadband. A 10 delegate meeting room is available for team or client meetings, and I’m told the state of the art Gaggia will be dispensing the finest coffee in town!

The Workbox offers a menu of options to suit the needs of your business, whatever its size and stage of development. The Startbox is a special rate for start-up businesses, and there are a number of rates for occasional and regular use, up to Myoffice, one of three dedicated lockable offices for £275 plus VAT a month. And the whole space is available for hire for businesses and organisations wanting an Eventbox.

The official launch of The Workbox is this Friday 10 May, and the space opens for business on Tuesday 14 May with an open day, free for anyone who wants to go along and have a look around.

  1. Much better use than as a tax office! I’ve shared this around a few Cornwall people 🙂

I hope they have good cake!
