Lanolips 101 Ointment
Taste *****
Doesn’t really have one.
Texture ****
A rich balmy texture, a bit sticky but absorbed very quickly.
Fragrance *****
Doesn’t have one.

Pure grade lanolin, 100% naturally derived. No spf.
Staying power & effectiveness *****
Lanolips 101 Ointment lasts a long time on the lips and for me is very effective at preventing and curing dry lips.
Packaging ***
Small tube.
Price & value *****
Approx £11 for a 15g tube, which might sound on the expensive side, but it lasts forever as you only need a tiny amount.
Overall score 4.6 *****
Best for
Anyone with dry lips or prone to dry lips. I have tried many lip balms but none have worked as well as Lanolips 101 Ointment. It gets absorbed completely and your lips feel really soft and moisturised.
It is also great for cold sores and any minor cuts or dry skin conditions and for softening cuticles. It is a multi-purpose balm. I get anxious if I can’t find my tube.
I really can’t think of anything bad to say about it, apart from maybe I wish it came in pot rather than a tube, because there is nothing more frustrating than when the tube is nearly finished yet you know there is still product in there.
