Garden Office Spotlight

In the July edition of our monthly sponsored feature Garden Office Spotlight we showcase a bespoke garden studio, a garden office available in kit form, and unique thermal blinds for garden offices, boats and campervans!

We hope they give you some ideas for your own workspace. Don’t forget you can see the photos full size if you click on them.

Dore Garden Offices

Dore Garden Offices - garden studio

‘This light-filled garden studio was built by Dore Garden Offices for a keen artist. She had previously painted in a spare bedroom, but had to clear away her brushes and canvases whenever a guest came to stay. Her specifications included lots of large windows, a slate roof to match the main house, and a pale green exterior to blend with the garden.

The studio was finished, complete with full insulation, electrics and plastered walls, within two weeks. Our bespoke designs are built to fit our customers’ unique needs so no two have ever been the same. The possibilities are endless.’

Homestead Timber Buildings

Garden Office Spotlight - Homestead Green Room

‘Here at Homestead we understand that home workers need to keep costs down, so we’ve designed The Green Room, which costs from £4,000 and comes in kit form for you to build yourself. There are three sizes, which do not need planning permission as they are under 2.5 metres in height.

We supply the building painted inside and out, with a wooden floor and double glazed doors and windows, optional cavity wall insulation, and the Homestead guarantee of quality. The attractive green colour helps your new garden office to blend into the garden, and it’s also available in white or any of the Homestead colour range.’

The Thermal Blind Co

Garden Office Spotlight - The Thermal Blind Company

‘Does your garden office get baking hot in the summer sunshine? Our thermal blinds will keep out the blinding light and heat at this time of year, and then stop the draughts in the winter. They have won the PEA (People & Environment Achievement) Award for the Best Energy Saving Idea, and The Sunday Times said they are as effective as triple glazing.

We’ve also developed ingenious thermal blinds for narrowboats, campervans, velux windows, unusual windows and more. So if you’re shutting up shop and heading off for the holidays, your mobile office can be just as comfortable and productive as the stationary one!’

Dore Garden Office looks beautiful! So full of light, it looks ideal for an artist. I’d love to have such an office in my garden 🙂
