Garden Spaces build a large number of garden offices ranging in size from a small space for occasional home working to larger buildings to accommodate a business and its staff.

The picture above shows a building we created for our client who is a leading manufacturer of children’s bikes. The office space includes quality lighting, climate control and toilet facilities, and we also installed Cat5 network cables along with the standard electrical fittings.

The flooring used in the office is our 10mm V groove laminate which is very robust, making it suitable for use even where it gets a lot of use.’

The Garden Office Guide

Garden buildings - The Garden Office Guide

‘Many homeworkers choose a garden office as a dedicated workspace because it offers all the benefits of working from home whilst keeping the discipline of going out of the house to work. This creates a clear distinction between work and home life.

When buying a garden office you work directly with the designer / supplier who will advise you on whether you need to apply for Planning Permission to build. You can have input into almost every element of the design such as the positioning of doors, windows & electrical sockets and the material finishes.

Cabin Master

‘Nick Godsmark decided he’d like a garden office due to having a new driveway and changing the layout of his garden. The area available was the old driveway, which was long and narrow, sandwiched between lovely established borders and lawn.

Cabin Master built a bespoke garden office to fit snugly in the space available. The office has a 45mm timber frame with solid foam installation boards, 20mm log lap tongue and groove exterior walls, UPVC double glazed patio doors and a full length corner window. There are no other windows in the building due to the setting of the office and to give Nick as much wall space as possible.’
