Top posts of 2013
In reverse order, the top posts of the year
What were the most popular posts of last year?
Here are the five top posts on Work from Home Wisdom in 2013:
5. 6 ways to beat working from home isolation.
I find the balance between spending time working alone and getting out of the house the most difficult thing about working from home. So this was written for my own benefit as much as my readers.
4. 17 top people to follow on Twitter.
It’s no secret I love Twitter, and being featured in the Birds on the Blog 50 Women in Business You MUST Follow inspired me to come up with my own list of fabulous tweeps. (And over the break I’ve been following new people and mixing up my Twitter stream so there may be more to add).
3. Garden Office Week – a garden room from Homestead.
Homestead Timber Buildings was one of the garden office manufacturers that contributed to the first Garden Office Week in April. I wonder why their post was so popular. Could it be the beautiful green building in the photo – or readers’ curiosity about what Kirsty Allsopp had chosen for her garden room?
2. Working from home and how it affects house insurance.
A perennial favourite, this. It was No 3 last year and is still one of our top posts. I’ll be posting more about how working from home affects your house insurance once the blog redesign is launched in the near future.
1. What’s your favourite email sign-off?
And amazingly, last year’s No 1 is still in the top spot! A post I wrote purely by chance after Charlie Dalton of Smart Garden Offices mentioned he was never sure whether he got his email sign-off right. I realised I wondered exactly the same thing, and so it seems do lots of other people. I still haven’t found one I like. Any suggestions?
