Work from Home Ideas for July

Work from Home Ideas for JulyI sent out the July edition of Work from Home Ideas & Tips early this morning, so I hope it was waiting in your inbox when you powered up the computer.

Since the Olympic opening ceremony is today, and I’ve already heard from people who describe themselves as ‘involuntarily working from home’ for a few weeks, the new edition includes my infographic about setting up a home office.

And I’m already sharing work from home ideas on Twitter, using the hashtag #2012wfh, along with lighthearted links for those working from home during the Olympics who are relying on me to keep them cheerful! Do join in if you’re a seasoned home worker. You never know how your wise words might inspire someone who’s struggling!

Guest blogger and writer’s coach Leda Sammarco has built up an invaluable series of advice for aspiring home business writers over the last few months. In her latest post she looks at overcoming writing fears that all too often stop us from sharing our expertise. Ever felt your writing isn’t good enough?

Remember I’m always on the lookout for interesting home working stories for the blog. A copy of Daniel Priestley’s Become a Key Person of Influence is on its way to Jonathan Ward of Ginger Horticulture, who put himself forward as a candidate for the Unusual Home Working Jobs series. His tales of plant tattoos and being caught naked at Hampton Court Flower Show fitted the bill perfectly! I still have two copies to give away to home workers who inspire a blog post, and I’m always happy to share your home office and home working style photos.

If you don’t already subscribe, you can sign up for Work from Home ideas & tips in the box on the right.

Happy reading!
