Free to good home officeOur home office clearouts are proceeding apace and yesterday A started a paper cull of his filing cabinet with me manning the shredder. Having got rid of lots of old documents from my own filing cabinet over the Christmas/New Year break, I had a theory that we could share a cabinet and dispose of mine.

Andy still has some hanging files to go through, but already it’s evident that two into one will go, and so I’m delighted to offer a grey metal four-drawer filing cabinet to anyone in the Frome area who will come and collect it. I have to say the photo makes it appear a lighter grey and somewhat smarter than it is in reality!

There are no keys so you can’t lock it, but it’s perfectly serviceable and I’ve used it happily for more years than I care to remember. The brown marks on the front are the remnants of the parcel tape I used to keep the drawers shut on our last house move. Previously I’ve always removed any stray bits with sticky stuff remover, but this was a move too far.
