Working away from home crashpadderToday’s guest post is by Crashpadder.com, the site I’ve recently used to find well-priced, quality accommodation while travelling on business away from home:

Vive la revolution!

Thanks to websites like eBay, Gumtree and Craigslist, people are starting to use the internet to cut out middle-men and big international organisations. The movement is called Collaborative Consumption and communities like ours are leading the charge.

It might sound a little high and mighty but Collaborative Consumption simply involves people trading, bartering, lending and sharing in return for a fair price. So how does all this relate to Crashpadding?

People power!

Our mantra is ‘there’s no place like homes’, because Crashpadder is all about staying with real people. So here are a few Padders who exhibit real human individuality, character and warmth – to show you what Crashpadding is all about:

Yolanda is a New York veteran
”I’ve been living in NYC for over 14 years and I love it! My spare bedroom is a wonderful place to crash for your stay!”

Jeffrey and his flatmate love meeting new people
”We’re well-travelled ourselves and are happy to share conversation, cups of tea and any information we have about the local area and/or London in general.”

Chef Julien is using Crashpadder to fund a new venture
”I’m 27 and I’m opening a restaurant in Paris with my best friend; so I’m renting my place while I’m staying at the resto!”

We’re sure you agree that helping to fund Julien’s restaurant in Paris – or benefitting from Yolanda’s wealth of New York expertise – is far preferable to booking a cookie-cutter chain hotel.

Do your bit for the revolution!
Do your bit by spreading the word; we’re relevant to all sorts of people:

- if you want to cut costs when travelling on business

- if you have spare bedrooms and are looking to make some extra cash

- if you want to take some time off to travel the world without creating an enormous carbon footprint

So now all that’s left is to find your perfect Crashpad. There are Crashpads all over the world to help you save money on business and leisure travel.
