Last minute home workingI’m off on my travels again, up to London for three KPI events this weekend followed by a lie-in on Monday as I attempt to resuscitate my brain cells after the concentrated influx of information and people.

One good thing I’ve noticed about going away for a couple of days is that it bounces me into a flurry of tidying up my home office to check there isn’t a very important matter lying on my desk overlooked. I can’t actually remember if there has ever been something I’ve forgotten with catastrophic consequences, or if this last minute check has narrowly averted disaster, but there’s a nagging thought at the back of my mind that makes me do it anyway. It’s probably the home working equivalent of repeatedly checking the oven is off and the back door locked.

Anyway my desk is looking much tidier and will be nicer to come back to now the excess paper has been cleared away. Maybe I’ll even get round to taking a photo to update the home office page before it clogs up again!
